In the middle of Blackberry storm, finally IPhone 3G will be marketed in Indonesia. If you are Telkomsel customer, good for you, you have chance to try this sophisticated gadget officially. Yeah, I said officially because even before this Telkomsel launch it plan, some of our friend who like surf around black market corner have enjoyed unlocked version of the gadget. But, like me, less person who like unofficial stuff. It is usually expensive and no after sales service.
Telkomsel has not neither released the exact date about the launching nor price. In Telkomsel website, there is only an order form for the device. Just jot down out identity, id number and tada, probably at launch date your IPhone 3G will be sent to your home for free. Ha ha, of course not just joke.
Personally as other gadget freaks, I have some level of interest to this phone. But everything depend to the price that will be labeled. I will consider to buy if label not more than 3 million. What the heck? How came this sophisticated gadget will priced as low as that? You probably wonder and little bit surprised. But that's true. IPhone usually make a kind of arrangement with provider to sell the device as cheap as possible but buyer should follow a kind of subscription scheme. Probably a year to 3 years subscription with several rule that is stated. Currently I don't know about the scheme that will be provided by Telkomsel.
So, will I order the gadget. Maybe. The certain thing is, since 2 month ago, I have enjoyed my IPhone clone phone, Nokia 5800XM. For the price that I paid, I thing Nokia 5800XM is worth enough.
