I've watched Prison Break serial first time at one of Local TV in Indonesia around 2007. Formerly, I guess Prison Break is not series. Prison Break is to sophisticated being a tv series. But, I'm mistake. Prison Break is not cinema movie, it is tv series with Four season collection episodes(at least currently).
As its title stated, Prison Break story is about an trial to escape from prison. The story is about two brothers that try to break out from prison. But when series goes, there are more complicated stories that happen.
The main cast of series is Michael Scofield (Wenworth Miller) and Lincoln Burrow (Dominic Purcell). In first season, Lincoln Burrow has been wrongfully accused and sentenced for a crime he didn't committed, killing US vice president brother. For saving his brother, Michael Scofield make a plan to break Burrow from Fox River prison where Burrow is held. To achieve his plan, Scofield commit robbery to be captured to prison. From inside, Scofield then build escaping plan to avoid Burrom dead sentences. The main plan for escape, is tattoed in Scofield body. The tatto consists blueprint detail of the prison.
Another cast appear in this first season including, Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) doctor at prison that later will became Scofield love. Theodore "T-Bag" Bagwell (Robert Knepper) as a psychopat, killer, rapper, but very smart and little bit funny for me. Amaury Nolasco as Fernando Sucre appear in all of for season. Sucre is Scofield cell mate that later will help much. Peter Stormare as John Abruzzi mafia boss that provide several facility to help escape. Rockmond Dunbar as Benjamin Miles "C-Note" Franklin ex soldier who wrongfully accused to prison. Wade Williams as Brad Bellick an unsymphatic prison officer. But this opionion change when story goes, Brad is really good person. Paul Adelstein as Paul Kellerman is right hand of vice president that will kill anybody who try to stop him. But at end, Kellerman is who save and clean and release Burrow and Scofield sentence. Even thouh for that Kellermen is killed.
When first season story is about the escape trial, season 2 show escape all of runner outside of prison. One by one the runner is captured while other can keep run. Abruzzi and David "Tweener" Apolskis (Lane Garrison) is finally have to dead. In this season another main cast appear William Fichtner as Alexander Mahone a FBI agent who assign to cath all fox river eight. The interest thing of Mahone, he has almost match intelectual level as Scofield. Although in 2 season Mahone is antagonist. He will became ally in next season. Second season is ended when unfortunatelly Scofield is captured to Sona prison in Panama, together with Mahone, T Bag and Bellick.
Third season now is story of Scofield trial to escape from Sona Prison in Panama. Different with other prison, Sona is keeped from outside. Inside prisonRobert Wisdom as Norman "Lechero" St. John rule prison as dictator. The main story of this season is Scofield trial to break James Whistler (Chris Vance) from Sona. New cast which appear are Jodi Lyn O'Keefe as Gretchen Morgan and Danay Garcia as Sofia Lugo, Whistler girlfriend. Grethend is bad thing that you will ever imagine. Sofia is really pretty for latin girl. Unfortunatelly she just play in this third season. The saddest thing from third season story is Tancredi died. Although later there will be much surprised. In third season something powerfull organization is mention frequently. In next season, it will be a main story.
Fourth season. Scofield succes running from Sona. But unfotunately, Bellick is stayed and Sucre being captured. Although later, all of them can escape too. New cast in this season is Michael Rapaport as Donald Self a FBI agent that want to bring down company. Company can be brought down by finding a thing called Scylla. Self arranged team that is lead by Scofield and Burrow to find Scylla. Roland (James Hiroyuki Liao) a hacker that have device to stole Scyla data is joined to team. Later, a betrayel trial make Roland should die. Wyatt (Cress Williams) right hand of General Krantz is ugliest thing along the season, even though not take long time he will be killed by Mahone, in revenge of his son dead. The main surprises of this season is Tancredi re-live. Tancredi is not dead. He is escaped from Gretchen while in Panama. Along this season the team arranged by Self to stole Scylla. T Bag is still appear as annoying person that have great revenga to Scofield.
As far as now, Prison Break is the best tv series I have ever watched. The story is amazing, the acting is really good, the action make your heart beat. It is really logical if we see the budget. The crew spent 2 to 3 Million dollars as budget per episodes. Prison Break is not family series. It is inaproprite to watch together with your 12 years boy. Prison Break is for adult. A lot of violance, sadist, stab, kill and blood in this series. But the point that make really like this series is, we can see humanis side of a even a murder. We can see it in Kellerman and Mahone. We also can swith streotype, for the person that firstly look bad. Brad Bellick is in this case. We also can see the genius and funny side of the most bad prisoner. We see it in T-Bag.
Currently Season 4 contains 16 episodes. Next episodes will be released around April 2009. We still know the ending, but most of fans will agree, Prison Break is great.
